On April 8th, Caltech hosted the Southern California State Science Olympiad Tournament for the 2nd year in a row, and of course the Gnomes played a role in it! Science Olympiad is a nationwide K-12 organization that holds various science and engineering team competitions. This brought over 3000 attendees and 1000 of the brightest science and engineering students in Southern California to Caltech on the day of the competition. On the day of the event, over 100 Caltech undergra
